My Pagan Centre was born in Western New York in 1992 (as was I, way back in the 70's).  Buffalo is the home of some wonderful Occult inspirations as there are MANY Old Native American areas with some very wild history as well as Niagara Falls (hugely known in the occult world for it's ley lines/chi), the Haunted Hilton and the Huanted Graveyard on Grand Island among many other widely known occult areas.  It is also the home to Occult celebs like Patricia Telesco.  And I must say, my journey would not have been complete without the Curious Goods Occult Shoppe on Bailey Avenue (just before Main Street).

I began my walk on the Pagan Path at the age of 15 with a report on religions for a History Project.  What started as a mere school project soon became a way of life.  A friend suggested Witchcraft as a subject for my paper and I was swept away from there (yeah, Renee, that's you!  Thanks So Much!)!  Since then, my parents have offered support the likes of which will never be rivalled (I honestly think they might be closet Druids lol).  But as they are both highly involved with historical data and publishing for this field, it almost seemed inevitable that I would choose my own forte int he historical world, my favorite area being historical Philosophy, Buffalo Historical Occultism and pretty much anything that intertwines our beliefs from history until the present.

I spent a majority of my teen aged years travelling the East coast, as I am truly a nomad at heart.  But I chose to trim my wings a bit when my heart lead me to Toronto, Ontario Canada.  I moved here for a promotion with the company I was with and met my soul mate not long before the company went belly up.  Rather than leaving, my Knight In Shining Flannel insisted we should be together.  We have been inseperable ever since, married in March of 2002.  His Agnostic viewpoints always give me much to contemplate.

Over the past 15 years I've been in Canada, I've been inspired more than almost any where else I've travelled.  I must say they still have a TON of rural areas here that are so soothing and calming that I couldn't imagine leaving.  Thanks to natures affect, I have been kept very busy with all the ideas that come to me here.  

So, now you know, I'm just like every one else with my own mini-story to tell.  I work my 9-5, I come home and make dinner or clean, I drive around in a crappy car, not on a way cool broom or new-wave vaccuum cleaner and I am just another person with another perspective about how Science and Nature are really one in the same.  Nature gives us the clues while Science finds the answers as to why Witchcraft works.  It's all in the mechanics!  ;)
